A small pouch can turn the annoying search for a cable or pen into one deliberate movement between bags. Bellroy’s Melbourne Black Classic Pouch offers that kind of organization through a wide opening and internal pockets. It is most persuasive when your everyday kit is already small—not when you expect it to absorb every spare charger you own.
Build a flat lay before buying
Put the items you want to carry together on a table: perhaps a short cable, compact charger, earphones and a pen. Then check their actual dimensions against the Classic Pouch’s nominal 22.5-by-14-by-5.8-centimeter format. A small photograph of a loaded pouch does not establish room for your particular adapter or hard drive.

The selected model is Classic Pouch ECPA in Melbourne Black, not Bellroy’s more structured Tech Kit or upright Desk Caddy. Its softer organization is a different choice. If you mainly need one substantial charger protected against impacts, a specialized case may fit that task better than an attractive general-purpose pouch.

The opening matters more than the logo
The wide access arrangement helps reveal the contents, while mesh pockets divide smaller items. Examine the open photographs to judge whether that layout matches the shapes you carry. A magnetic internal pocket can be convenient for small pieces, but it does not eliminate the need to close the main zipper before putting the pouch into a bag.

Reference images from Pack Hacker show example contents and access; those items are props and the photographs are not our testing. We do not adopt another reviewer’s personal durability or fit results as our own. Fabric and leather details can also differ between Classic Pouch versions, so match the selected finish rather than assuming every color is identical.

Keep its role modest
Consider the pouch if your goal is moving a small group of essentials together between a desk and a bag. Skip it if you need rigid protection, waterproof storage or a much larger kit. We have not tested zip life, loaded capacity or abrasion. The useful outcome is fewer loose items, not buying an organizer so that you can carry more things.
