Access is a strong reason to choose a duffel
The Migrate 40L opens broadly and includes tuck-away backpack straps. That makes it a candidate for a soft travel load you want to pack openly and carry in more than one way. The cited recycled-material version is described as water resistant.

The broad opening helps arrangement, but it does not provide the same internal structure as a dedicated laptop or organizer-heavy work bag. Give fragile items their own suitable protection. The manufacturer also notes that the TSA lock shown in some images is not included.

Decide how far you will carry it
Choose it for flexible clothing and gear loads where duffel access is useful and occasional backpack carry helps. For long walks with a substantial load, compare the harness and support with a travel backpack rather than assuming two straps make the experience identical. Check external dimensions against any baggage allowance. We have not tested weather protection or loaded comfort. Buy the format that fits the route and contents, not a claim that forty liters automatically qualifies as every airline’s carry-on.

The decision before checkout
The wide opening simplifies arranging a soft load, while fragile items still need their own protection. Two straps do not establish the support of a dedicated travel backpack. The TSA lock visible in some manufacturer photos is not included; check the bundle rather than counting every pictured accessory.
