A different silhouette for a sea-life shelf
A stingray’s spread-out body changes the look of a small animal collection. Instead of another upright animal silhouette, this EUGY design has a flatter body held on a paper display support. That is worth considering before buying it simply because the face looks appealing in a front photograph. The recipient needs to like the whole silhouette.

Match model 102 and the actual kit
The selected maker product is 102 Stingray. The retailer describes fifty-four pieces and ages six and older, while the manufacturer describes numbered components supplied flat for assembly. Use the pack instructions rather than inferring the sequence from the exploded reference picture. Finished-model images do not mean it arrives pre-built.

Look at the layers and tail
Side and overhead views help you judge how the flattened body, extended tail and display support work together. Check the actual dimensions if fitting a particular shelf is important; photographs alone do not establish the footprint. We have not assembled it, tested the tail’s resistance to handling or compared build difficulty against other EUGY animals.

Treat the ocean theme as a theme
This is a paper model, not a bath toy, aquarium decoration or object intended for submersion. Keep it in a dry setting and follow the supplied age and handling guidance. Put loose parts and any assembly materials away when the project pauses, particularly in a home with younger children or curious pets.

Choose it for a willing maker
A sea-life enthusiast who enjoys careful model building may appreciate both the activity and the finished form. A short note connecting it to an aquarium visit can personalise the choice without extra clutter. Choose a ready-made figurine when only the display matters, and a reusable puzzle when the recipient wants to rebuild it. No completion speed or durability claim is based on our own testing.
