Whites in one corner, darks in another, and that delicate shirt balanced on a chair: laundry sorting can spread long before wash day arrives. The Joseph Joseph Tota Trio brings three separate piles into one lidded, neutral-coloured basket. It is an appealing upgrade when the categories matter more than raw capacity.
The important number is 30, not 90
The total capacity is 90 litres, divided into three removable 30-litre bags. Compared with Tota Twin’s two 45-litre bags, Trio adds a category but makes each individual compartment smaller. A household producing mostly one kind of washing may fill one bag while leaving the others nearly empty.

Decide the three categories before buying. Lights, darks and colours are one option; everyday clothes, delicates and towels may fit another household better. Follow garment labels rather than assuming those broad groups define safe wash settings.

Sorting stays with the carry bag
Each bag lifts out using its handles, so the planned load can go directly to the machine. A handle underneath helps with emptying. The photographs show the three openings and removable bags; they are not three separate freestanding hampers included in the purchase.

Allow space for the 71 x 59.1 x 39.5cm basket, the removable lid and the upward lifting motion. It needs assembly, and the surrounding fabric exterior is wipe-clean. Bag washing requires removing the plastic trim and following the care label.

Buy fewer piles, not more furniture
Choose the Ecru 50021 Trio when three regular wash streams already exist and you want them hidden together. Skip it if you rarely sort, or prefer carrying one large mixed basket. Its strongest reward is a bedroom that looks less like a temporary sorting station—not an automatic solution to laundry itself.
