Reach is the feature to measure
The far side of a bathtub can be awkward even when the cleaning job is simple. OXO’s scrubber extends from roughly 66 to 106 cm and uses a pivoting, replaceable head. That combination is intended to improve access without making every stroke a crouch or stretch.

Before buying, compare the extension range with the actual distance you need to reach. A pivoting head can follow an angle, but it does not make an inaccessible area safe to reach from an unstable position. Keep both feet securely planted and avoid treating the tool as a climbing aid.

Abrasive cleaning is not for every finish
The manufacturer describes the head as abrasive. Check the tub or tile maker’s approved tools and test only as instructed; delicate coatings require a different approach. This candidate suits a recurring reach problem on compatible surfaces, especially where a replaceable head is useful. A short brush remains simpler for areas already at hand. We do not treat the product’s antimicrobial wording as proof of disinfection. The buying case is reach, angle and replacement access—not a medical or hygiene promise.

The decision before checkout
The extendable handle changes access, not the amount of pressure a delicate coating can accept. Check approved cleaning tools for the exact tub, work from a stable position and replace a worn head. Do not translate antimicrobial product wording into a claim that this tool disinfects the bathroom.
