The last thing a pleasant shower needs is another chore. A squeegee cannot change that, but one hanging where you can reach it has a better chance of becoming part of the routine than a tool buried under the sink. Umbra’s white Buddy adds a small visual joke: a little figure apparently holding the blade overhead. The charm is the invitation; the useful part is still moving water off glass.
Decide where it will live
This is the adhesive-hanging Buddy version, not the older suction-mounted model. The included hanging arrangement matters as much as the blade: choose a reachable spot that does not interfere with a door, controls or anyone using the shower.

Umbra excludes porous mounting surfaces. Read the actual installation instructions, clean and prepare a suitable surface, and respect any required setting time. A manufacturer’s non-damaging claim is not a guarantee for fragile paint, deteriorating finishes or every rental bathroom. If the surface is uncertain, a freestanding storage option may be the safer choice.

Water removal is not deep cleaning
The flexible silicone edge is intended for wiping suitable glass and smooth surfaces. It does not replace a descaling routine, repair poor ventilation or make existing soap buildup disappear by itself. Loose debris or grit should not be dragged across a delicate surface.

Look at the shape around the figure as well as the straight wiping edge. Decide whether that handle arrangement suits your grip and whether you can reach the glass you actually need to wipe. The staged bathroom pictures establish the design, not independently tested streak-free performance or reach.

Buy the character only if the job fits
The selected white model has a polypropylene body and black wiping edge. Its playful silhouette can make a small functional item feel intentional rather than like cleaning clutter. That is a reasonable reason to prefer it—not evidence that it cleans better than a plain squeegee.

Choose Buddy if you already want a compact glass-wiping tool and like leaving it visibly hung in the bathroom. Skip it if your current blade works, your mounting surface is unsuitable, or the main problem is stubborn scale rather than leftover water. One squeegee and its hanging attachment are the product; mirrors, fittings and furniture in the gallery are scene-setting, not included extras.
