This box is not the coffee machine
Wacaco states that the kit is compatible only with Nanopresso. The brewer shown in use photographs demonstrates how the accessories fit; it is not included as a standalone machine in this selected kit. Do not buy it expecting to make coffee straight from this box alone. Picopresso and Minipresso are different devices, despite sharing a brand and portable-coffee purpose.
The dose changes the routine
The maker lists two 16-gram baskets and an additional 8-gram basket, along with a larger tank, cup and adapter components. A larger basket does not remove the need to choose suitable grounds and prepare them carefully. It also means using more coffee each time. Compare that with the serving you genuinely enjoy instead of assuming a bigger dose is automatically a better drink.
Allow for the expanded packed setup
The additional tank and accessories change what you carry and clean. Decide whether the kit will stay at home or travel with you, and check how your existing case accommodates it. Follow the exact assembly and adapter instructions rather than improvising parts between different Wacaco devices. Hot water remains a separate requirement because these accessories do not add heating.
Buy for a known owner
Choose this kit for a Nanopresso user who likes the brewer but wants more flexibility in dose and serving. Skip it as a generic coffee-lover gift unless you know the device they own. We have not measured extraction quality or compared it with larger machines. The strongest reason to buy is a specific improvement to an existing routine, not a promise to transform any portable brewer.
