Give the open page a little help
Flexi Book Clip addresses a familiar interruption: the page that closes while you are following a recipe, copying a detail or working alongside a reference book. It is a small accessory with a specific task, rather than another reading gadget that needs an invented use. Begin with a book you already wish would stay open.

Check the book before the clip
Kikkerland describes an adjustable spring for different page thicknesses. That is not a guarantee of fit on every book, cover or binding. Look at the gallery and consider where the clip would contact your actual pages. We have not tested holding force or pressure marks. Start with an ordinary suitable book, not a fragile or valuable volume.

Holding pages is different from supporting a book
A page clip does not establish an angled reading surface or support for a heavy book. If the main problem is viewing a cookbook comfortably from across the counter, a proper stand may be more useful. Use the clip for keeping pages open when the book already has an appropriate resting place, rather than expecting it to perform both jobs.
Keep the working area sensible
The listed size is five by three by two inches, with ABS construction. Allow room for the clip and keep a book used during cooking away from spills and heat. Follow the supplied instructions for adjustment and removal. Do not force the accessory onto a book when the fit looks unsuitable, and check that text is not obscured where you need to read.
Choose a real hands-free task
This could be a useful small gift for someone who regularly uses physical cookbooks, craft instructions or reference pages. It may offer little benefit to a digital-only reader. We have not tested durability or spring wear. Choose Flexi Book Clip for a clear page-holding problem; choose a stand or a different format when support, reading angle or delicate-paper protection matters more.
