  3. Lid uses stainless steel, polypropylene and silicone

Make brewing part of the pause

Tea can be a hurried drink or a reason to stop for a moment. A transparent pot makes the steeping itself visible: the leaves move, the water changes colour, and you decide when to pour. UNITEA’s restrained shape keeps the focus on what is inside rather than on a decorative pattern. The idea is a small ritual, not a promise that a different pot automatically produces better tea.

The lid replaces one separate item

The One Touch design incorporates straining into its lid. That may appeal if you dislike arranging a separate strainer over every cup, but it does not remove the need to follow tea-specific brewing instructions or clean trapped leaves afterwards. Very fine particles and different leaf shapes should not be assumed to behave identically. We have not tested filtration with a range of teas or measured how it pours.

Choose the capacity for your cups

This is model 8335 with a stated capacity of 460ml. Measure the amount your own cups hold instead of treating the retailer’s cup-count description as a universal serving size. Leave appropriate headroom and follow the instructions for filling. It is a more convincing choice for a modest serving than for keeping a whole group supplied, and repeated brewing may be necessary for larger gatherings.

Glass and metal need different treatment

The body is heat-resistant glass, while the lid includes stainless steel, polypropylene and silicone. KINTO says the lid must not go in the microwave. Read the separate care instructions for both parts, avoid sudden temperature changes and abrasive cleaning, and dry the lid after washing. Do not put the pot on a normal stovetop burner. The transparent body is still glass and needs a stable place where it cannot be knocked.

Buy for a routine you actually enjoy

Choose this pot when watching loose leaves steep and serving a smaller amount feels like a welcome pause in the day. Skip it if you need travel durability, a large capacity or a vessel you can handle casually around a crowded counter. Check the 460ml model rather than confusing it with the separate larger version. The recommendation is based on the maker’s design and care guidance, not claimed personal testing.
