A wide tray is only useful if it fits
The attraction of a half sheet pan is space: cookies or a full roasting load can sit apart rather than crowded together. The ceramic-coated OXO version listed here has an external footprint of 19 by 13.4 inches, while the usable interior is smaller. Those are different measurements with different jobs.

Check the oven rack and door clearance using the external size. Plan food portions using the interior, not the name half sheet. The wide rims are part of the handling footprint, and they still need room for oven gloves.

Coating changes the care decision
This regional version uses a ceramic coating over aluminized steel; it should not be confused with every older OXO Non-Stick Pro tray. OXO says to hand wash and avoid oil sprays that can leave difficult residue. Choose it when a full-size batch solves a recurring crowding problem and that care routine is acceptable. For small meals or a narrow oven, a quarter sheet is more manageable. We have not measured browning uniformity or coating life; the recommendation rests on size, handling and stated care, not borrowed bake-test results.

The decision before checkout
The usable interior is 16.5 × 11.7 inches; handles and rims account for the rest. Make a paper template of the outside footprint before buying. Follow the ceramic-series care guidance, including cooling before washing and avoiding unsuitable tools; release and long-term coating life have not been independently tested here.
