Mopping and spot cleaning are different jobs
A microfiber mop may glide over an area while a dried mark remains behind. OXO’s spray mop includes a removable scrubber that slides out when the pedal is pressed, alongside a pivoting microfiber head and refillable bottle. The appeal is moving between broad wiping and targeted scrubbing within one setup.

The bottle has measurement markings, but the floor manufacturer still determines the appropriate cleaning liquid and moisture level. More spray is not automatically better, especially on surfaces that restrict water. Use the scrubber only where the finish permits it.

Count the maintenance as well as the convenience
OXO lists a machine-washable microfiber head and replacement heads. A reusable pad works best when washing and drying it is part of the routine, not when yesterday’s dirt stays on today’s tool. Choose this if small sticky spots frequently interrupt mopping and you want a refillable format. A plain mop may be enough for uncomplicated dust and light dirt. We have not measured cleaning performance or established that one solution works for every floor; the recommendation depends on surface compatibility and the two-job design.

The decision before checkout
The detached scrubber is the reason to consider this model rather than any spray mop. Choose a liquid and moisture level approved for the flooring, wash and dry the pad, and rinse the bottle. Replacement pads are a maintenance consideration, not included extras unless the selected listing says so.
