The awkward part is usually the lid
A bottle can look clean while the straw and small lid channels are still hard to reach. OXO’s cleaning set separates those jobs: a long bottle brush, a narrow straw brush and a detail brush for crevices. That is a more convincing reason to buy than a promise that one oversized brush cleans everything.

Start by taking your bottle apart according to its instructions. Match each removable part to the appropriate brush and leave it exposed to dry. The included stand can be taken apart for cleaning and has a pouring spout; it should not become a permanent puddle beside the sink.

Check the narrowest opening first
The set is worth considering when a daily reusable bottle has passages your current brush misses. Verify the brush diameter against the actual straw bore, and do not force a brush into valves or seals the bottle maker says to leave alone. For a plain wide-mouth bottle without a straw, a single bottle brush may be enough. Choose the set for several distinct cleaning jobs, not simply because it contains more pieces.

The decision before checkout
Make a cleaning map of the bottle before buying: main vessel, straw, lid and removable seals. Three tools are worthwhile when they reach three different places. They are not a sterilization system, and the bottle maker determines which pieces can be removed or scrubbed.
