Start with the divider, not the sponge
Saddle offers a neat idea: rest a flexible organiser over the centre divider of a double sink, with storage on both sides. That removes the need to find a suitable suction-cup location. The important buying check is the sink itself. A single basin or a divider that is too wide does not become compatible because the product looks compact.

Measure the actual resting place
Umbra specifies a divider two inches wide or less. Measure where the caddy would sit, including any raised edge or unusually rounded surface. The maker’s approximate overall dimensions are five-and-a-half by four-point-eight by four-point-one inches. Check that it leaves room for washing larger dishes and using both basins. We have not tested fit on individual sink models.

Drainage is not a hygiene guarantee
Holes allow water to leave the caddy, but that does not prove a sponge will stay odour-free or clean indefinitely. Avoid crowding several wet items together, remove accumulated debris and clean the organiser according to the supplied guidance. A storage accessory does not replace maintaining or replacing the cleaning tools themselves.

Keep the installation simple
The selected model is 330210-040 in black. It rests over the divider and can be lifted away; it is not a screw-fixed rack or an adhesive shelf. Sponges, brushes and other scene accessories are not included with this selection. Decide whether a movable caddy is convenient in your daily routine or likely to get in the way.

When countertop storage wins
For a suitable double sink, Saddle can keep a frequently used sponge close to hand without another fixture. For a single bowl, broad divider or heavily used shared washing space, a different location may be more practical. This is a research-based assessment, not a fit or drying test. Choose it for the installation method that matches your sink, rather than promises about sanitising or eliminating smells.
