Give the top of your monitor some breathing room
A webcam upgrade can become another bracket, another bulky object and another cable crossing the desk. The OBSBOT Meet 2 takes a quieter approach: a small fixed camera body with autofocus and automatic framing. Its appeal is an uncluttered call setup, not a moving camera performing on your behalf.
Look past the three-colour lineup
The selected offer is Space Grey Meet 2. Manufacturer pictures also show white and green finishes; they are alternatives, not extra cameras in the box. Look at the rear-view placement photograph before the clean product rendering. The mount and the route of the USB cable decide whether the neat idea survives your actual monitor.
Framing without the moving head
Meet 2 uses digital framing rather than a motorised gimbal. That distinction matters if you mostly sit at a desk and occasionally lean back or include a colleague. It is less persuasive if you plan to walk around a room while presenting. Cropping cannot make an unsuitable camera position disappear.
A 4K camera is not automatically a 4K meeting
The camera supports 4K at 30 frames per second, with autofocus and a half-inch sensor. Your conferencing app, connection and host setup still determine what the other person receives. Before buying, try improving the light in front of your face and raising your present camera toward eye level. A camera cannot fix a bright window behind you by magic.
The useful finishing detail
The separate privacy cover is worth noticing if you prefer a physical lens barrier. Decide where it will live when removed. Shortlist Meet 2 for a compact fixed-camera workspace; choose a tracking gimbal only if your movement justifies it. Confirm the exact grey standard package and computer requirements. Findweave has not measured image quality or tested the software.
